Join us for a special discussion on The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt as we welcome our guest speaker: Dr. Wendy Rote, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg Campus.
As director of the Parent-Adolescent Relationships (PAR) Lab, Dr. Rote has done groundbreaking research on parenting styles, psychological control, and the evolving dynamic between adolescents and their caregivers. In this session, Dr. Rote will share insights from her own research that challenge the themes in The Anxious Generation, allowing time for questions and discussion.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear from a leading voice in developmental psychology as we explore the mental health impacts of technology on tweens, teens, and adults in this thrilling dialogue!
Registration is required. Register online here or call 727-394-6918 to register over the phone.
